Where would you place your ad block i.e. on the left, the right, the bottom of the page?

Is also a brand of diapers for incontinent people.

It really depends on your site.
How it looks, what is the purpose of your site, so many factors.
Then the size of the adsense block...big square, little rectangle, text links only...

    You get the picture?
Then expirement with the placement, find the one spot that pulls in the most clicks.

Onwards to the color of the block.
Does it blend well with your site?

    haha :D
Do you expect any meaningful answer

I prefer adblock with only 1 ad.
And blend it with rest of the contents. :)

    Suggestions:

If you run a content rich website place a "300x250 rectangle ad" at the top of each content page after the page title and floated to the left at the start of the content. See any article on the CNN dot com website for examples (although their ad placement is part way down the page to the right... it should give some placement ideas). You need to make the ads visible without getting in the way of the content you provide(experiment with colors, ad sizes).

If you run a commercial website focused on a specific product or products I would not run adsense at all since Adsense is an exit link and in most cases to a competitor website.

Yes I agree with seo. I'd use a rectangle (large or medium) or a square blended with content. If you think this is very invasive then you should use a horizontal link unit.

All things being equal, I'd use a large rectangle at the top of the page (right above the content), or embedded within the content, floated to top-right.

I haven't experimented too much with placement but have recently re-designed my site & placed 3 ads on each page. One at the very top (468 x 60), to the right of the logo, a large rectangle 160 x ? in the left hand column & another 468 x 60 at the bottom of the article. I've found the ads on the left hand side have the best click through rate.
