    yippee...a major WUD snafu

    both my LT & DT (XP HOME) refuse to install this new update

    Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB928366)

    every time I install it, it returns an ever helpful "this update did not install".

    seems like a real common issue too since google has already indexed several threads about it @ various forums but I have yet to find a solution.

    this happen regardless of the 'auto' UD or the online UD
