If you have a YPN account this might be useful to you

The tool is called PublisherZ Monitor, and it installs to your Windows desktop with a small icon on the taskbar. Roll your mouse over the PublisherZ Monitor icon and instantly see your latest stats, without having to login to your YPN account. Impressions, clicks, CPM, total revenue... it's all there for you to see.

PublisherZ Monitor has a number of other parameters which you can use to customize your experience, such as frequency of updates. I highly recommend .
downloading this free application and using it to get snapshots of your Yahoo Network performance throughout the day.

aaah, I wouldn't mind some inconviniece (if it is at all) to login into my YPN account.

Someone else looking into my account is scary thought(even if its program).

Is this method of getting data from YPN is allowed by YPN system? If your program gets into some loop and hits YPN system badly, they will look into it and boot you for sure.

Red Flag from me for this!

I am not sure if the program gives all the info you mentioned as YPN only gives you total revenue for the day. If you need to see the impressions and clicks you need to wait for a day.

How in the world does it do that? How can it get your statistics without requiering your business ID and password? Unless it is official software developed by Yahoo! I would trust it, other then that, no. :)

PS: ArcticPro, will you please reply to my PM? :)

    Hi all,

Thanks for giving our post all this attention.

Our PublisherZ Monitor application follows the footsteps of previous products, such as SysSense and others, which let publishers track their websites’ revenues and performance in real time without the need to login to their account again and again. Our application is unique in the way it let you track more than one network at a time and as far as we know it’s currently the only monitor that can track YPN and FastClick.

We are a bunch of professional software engineers with lots of experience with online advertising and we are actually publishers ourselves. In fact, the reason we started with all this idea is because we had the same need as you guys have. We are very serious about this initiative and we have further interesting plans for the near future on how to improve our offering.

Now, to the details you are waiting for. Yes, when are using PublisherZ Monitor you provide us with your account username and password. This is needed in order for us to retrieve your statistics from your account and to provide you with the notifications, history data, graphs etc. We are taking all security measurements in order to make sure your account details are safe and secure. All the information that kept on our servers is encrypted using the most sophisticated encryption methodologies and it’s protected by firewalls and other active security components. In general, this is not different than passing your credit card when purchasing goods on the web or filling up your social security number on a form. As stated in our Privacy Policy we will not share your information with any third-party organization.

In addition whenever you delete your account through the settings dialog all your information will be deleted from our servers as well.

We truly believe that using our application will make your life much easier, it did make ours.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,
    The PublisherZ Team

I actually tried this app out. There was a thread a couple of days ago where I asked questions but the thread was deleted.

The app seemed nice and handy however my concerns was about account information and who had access to it.

Shefer if you really want to promote this product you should get ahold of YPN + Adsense and verify that this won't get accounts banned.

But my biggest question that hasnt been answered is How do you make money with this? Nobody does anything for free, what is in this for you?

The only program I'd try with such info would be a complete open source with no pre-compiled or encrypted files.

Any publisher who gives that guy his account number and password needs his head examined.
