    If you're hiring someone who knows what they're doing you shouldn't have to give them any instruction. They are supposed to be the expert.

    Yes, this is true to a certain degree however they still need a direction, and some companies prefer one over the other. You can't just employ someone and expect them to do the job to your liking.
