If you had only ONE promotion technique to use to promote your site...

If you had to rely on ONLY one source of promotion, which of the following would you choose, and why?

1) article posting/marketing

2) forum signatures

3) social bookmarking

4) link building

5) ppc

6) video marketing (you tube etc)

7) myspace/friendster

8) niche directories (not google, yahoo or msn )

9) press releases

10) other

note- I have purposefully left off seo...as it takes time and this thread is about building traffic quickly...

 

I like to use blogs personally,

If you have the right blog with the right userbase, then your golden

If i have unlimited funds. PPC as its the easiest to implement and target your customers. Just my opinion

 

Since you don't have my choice. Promoting through good looking women with a bubble quote saying "I like www........com" then I would choose number 8.

A lot of people say directorys don't really help but that's so not true once you do them by the thousands.

They really build your site up like nothing ever.

 

Only one promotion method may not work effectively since online marketing is too vast so you need to combine atleast two or three method..from your list.

 

ppc ........... but in reality would use all methods

 

I love PPC because it forces me to focus on my metrics and it's instant traffic (most of the time).

 

9. press releases

The only time when my website went down was when it was in news on TV. Same goes with newspapers.

Why? Everyone if aware of your presence.

 

ppc would be what id go with
