Depends on what site you have or what you want to achieve.... for example if you already own a comercial site, let's say a site that sells football shirts... I would invest some in some PPC campaigns and also in some keyword optimization

Could you expound on that point a bit? We have a blogging network with around 700 blogs, and a regular but small set of users. Our users love our network, but we just can't seem to get over the hump to reach the masses. If we were to spend money on trying to promote a blogging network, how would your approach differ?
