If you were sitting on a found $1000 and wanted to invest it into your marketing campaign for your web site, what would you do? And where would you start? The reason im asking is because I came upon some $ which I would really like to invest back into one of my sites to boost serps, boost exposure and work on my ad campaign. (not PPC)
I would put almost all the money into SEO with backlinks and maybe even services. If I had any left over, I would invest in a PPC campaign or some ad space.
Problem is, $1k won't get you very far with SEO services. oldsteel68, I have two music websites. One is a forum gear-monkey [ dot ] com and the other is a exclusive musician's auction gear-vault [ dot ] com. Maybe we could help each other out as we're in the same niche.
You don't have to get an SEO to do it, just do it yourself. First buy let's say 20 or so articles (there are some good authors on dp that can do that). Do research on which keywords you want to rank high for and then submit your articles to hundreds of article directories using different keywords in the article box. If possible rewrite each article and you'll have even more articles you can submit. On average depending on quality of the article you can get anywhere from 20-500+ backlinks for each article.
try those pay to read sites. they offer pretty cheap links, although some of the traffic are not good. you'll have to research more and do some trial & error to get the best program...
