if you emptied your DB...

    Well you would have a tree with branches and no leaves and we all know what happens to trees they die :)

    It might take time but for sure will happen

    Depends on how long, if you leave it long enough and SE crawls and dint find those pages, then you are up for supplemental results.

    i was asking because im considering emptying out the DB and taking matt cutts advice on being super picky on whats listed in your directory...good idea bad idea?

    If that is what you want, then do it now, place a redirect on those old pages to the new.

    its not that i worship the ground matt cutts walks on, but it does make sense. the review fee really should be a determined by how much time you take to review the site. and the links from your site should be useful and not just a collection of useless links.. just my 2c :cool:

    Not a bad idea...just make sure your redirect the missing pages or use an effective 404 page.

    Who cares what Matt Cutts says...he's just a Google puppet spokesperson.
