    I don't have a day job yet, but I plan to eventually. If you love your normal job I think it can be great to keep both.

    I got laid off from my job...tried finding ways to make extra money while I was on unemployment.
    I knew I had to make at least what I was getting on unemployment each month to make it.

    I discovered Adsense and ran with it full time of course cuz I had nothing else and I was on a time
    limit...it is amazing what you can achieve when your back is up against the wall.

    Anyway...in 8 months I took Adsense from $0 to well as of today Jan 26 is $4325.43 total today with
    5 hours left in the day $210.90 and with 5 days left in the month...each of these 5 days should be
    over $200 so I should be over $5000 for the month. Halfway to the $10,000 mark. I think I can do
    $10,000 in 12 months of Adsense.

    This depends on the jop you have it would be extremely stupid to quit a good paying job for something like adsense that will not last 5 years.
