if you could recommend a BluRay movie to show off the resolution of a new hi-definition television, what movie would it be?

I haven't seen it yet but I was told the new Batman movie does the trick rather well (The Dark Knight). I personally just got a 1080p HDTV and haven't quite yet bought many BD's (I've only so far got classics like Rambo's trilogy, which doesn't quite fully show of greatness of HD).

Anything that uses high-quality ANIMATION or CGI would benefit from the 1080p format:

    WALL-E

LORD OF THE RINGS (battle scenes & CGI would be enhanced)

TRANSFORMERS (lots of CGI in this film!)

I would say The Dark Knight, Inception. Also, colorful movies like Avatar, Up, and Speed Racer. I think however, my favorite movies on Bluray would be The Fall and Sunshine.

Hello. You know there are so many good movies to watch! Everything will be great there to watch. Also, I think that the great chance is to watch some action. The best movie is Inception. I like this movie very much.

Not really a movie, but the most impressive way to show off a new hi-def tv is Planet Earth on Blu-Ray. Most of the shots look amazing in standard definition, but look absolutely amazing on Blu-Ray with a 1080p tv backing it up.
