If You Could Improve AdSense....

If you could improve AdSense, how would you?

Would you create a new ad size?
Would you create or remove a ToS rule Google has?
Would you like to see it being used on a new medium?
Would you like Google to work on better statistical analysis tools?

Just wondering what others are thinking about

I agree. They should add a ranking system and not just have the super duper premium publishers...like .0$-250$ a month x rank. 251$-3,000$ x rank, 3,001-25,000$ etc and each one gets their own benifits.

I would feel so loved if they did that.... ::sigh::

Their customer service - IT SUCKS. Every email is just simple copy and paste from a template. Seems like they have a script for every question and no question you ask them is answered 100%

I've said this before. Remove the 'Self Click' problem.

Their technology is already in place to detect if a publisher clicks on his own ad. So! Why don't they just zero the payment to both the publisher and the advertiser?

    1 Self click detected
2 No payment made to publisher (they do this already)
3 No charge made to advertiser (they 'claim' to do this already)

If they already detect it, why make such a big thing out of it? It'd save us living in fear of accidentally clicking on our own ads, after all, accidents happen. I'm sure everybody's had it where you click on a part of a page, only for the page to freeze for a second. Then when it unfreezes, it scrolls up and you've clicked somewhere else. That somewhere else could be your own ad (it's happened to me).

Yup, changing the font of the ads
and not having Ads by Google will
    be really nice.

Further - simply not counting any
clicks made by mistake from publishers
will be definitely the right step to stop
us worrying so much and having to write
    and explain what happend.

And also - stop the possibility to be click
bombed by whomever is doing it. It should
be very easy for them I think as they have
    the tools to detect it.

I would love more versatility with the design of the ad. All the text ads look exactly the same and can hard to blend into a site. Furthermore, every ad on every website looks the same. Ad-blindness is ridiculous!

As mentioned above, changing the font would be nice, but they could add more customization features, like maybe somehow allowing you to use your own CSS easily or adding hover effects from the creation wizard.

1: They already know what my ip address is, but to keep the problem simple allow me to add my ip in the account and any click/impression generated from that ip will not be counted.
2: Pay me for the first click only; if there is any extra click generated you keep the money, better than being accused of click fraud.
3: Any body that goes my page can copy my id and click bomb it at some other domain. So allow me to make a list like a comp ad list where I can add the entire domain I own.

Actually I don't think the ads are ugly at all compared to most, they're simple and can be blended into the web design.

...i'll be creating a way of NOT banning publishers because of invalid clicks, made by anothers. simple as that.
if a guy comes clicking your ads like crazy, you're done. that's not fair.
G should create a form of: too many clicks? - no money.
    simple.
