It sounds like you misunderstood "blending". It's more like "integration". Making it part of your website instead of looking like a banner you slapped on there. (no border, same color links as your nav, placed within content, etc.) Most people do that now anyway, so it's pretty much old news.
It is the other way, dark border, light background with dark word.. you can see it here http://www.revirgination.net/liposcution.html
Do not overreact! Up and downs are standard so give them at least a few days before you make changes.
I do believe at some point in time, google will get smart about all these cookie cutter sites and start banning them. What I am doing with a few of mine, is hunting for new articles that are unique to my site topic and replacing all the prebuilt articles with these.
Its mesothelioma ...anyways....dont do that. Alwyas be pure....we have our big daddys & our dad's forefather sitting here....make money the nice, better & legal way...cos its gonna be long time...Cheers!!!
Always use blue text for the url's. People are used to the universal blue text for links. I find if you blend them in with your site colour, it will reduce CTR's Unless it is in your navigation menue, then it is different. Brad
i actually found out that tips from this page really work when it's possible to implement them on your site www. google. com/corporate/tenthings.html so i guess my tip would be: don't be evil.
Content is king. Go for the long run, don't try to quickly assemble a site and think that you will earn long-term profit. Pick a niche, do research and work it! And don't try to force it. With some patience you will start seeing rapid improvements in income numbers.
Experiment with Adwords. Buy targeted traffic that already has demonstrated that they click on Google ads.
Now that is a good tip - I doubled my CTR today by changing my adlinks to blue instead of black - even though other links on my site are black.
well, if we're talking about the content, then here's is something I've found out: unique content really pays off, I'm seeing much higher clicks on pages with more and unique content..
