    Hello,

If you could choose how much to pay for each targeted user on a mass basis how much would it be?

I'm not looking for people saying .00 cents or .000000001 Please give your real opinions on how much you would pay for each unique 30second visitor (try comparing to your adwords).

    Thanks.

Yeah, but say you could buy a certain amount of visitors (Targeted) for x amount of dollars. How much would you pay per visitor?

That depends on a lot of things. You need to know your visitor value. If your selling a product for $100 and have a conversion rate of 2% then you make $200 per 100 visitors. 200 / 100 = $2. So you could pay up to $2 per visitor and still break even. Anything less than $2 would be profit.

Well it depend on what you are advertising, for example if I'm trying to get targeted traffic for one of my financial services website, I would pay upto $6-7/click. If I'm trying to promote my blog templates website I wouldnt pay more than $0.10/click.

And also it's really important that the visitors are highly targeted!

Yeah, currently I am not trying to sell any thing. I'm actually launching an Ad Network on Oct. 8. Its advertising with a spin to it, and I was just trying to get some advertiser opinions on it. As of right now, I cant give you any details on what its about etc. But all of your opinions are highly appreciated.

rspenc29: I understand what you mean. But the network I'm launching has a flat rate for each visitor, thus I would have to apply these rates to a broad spectrum. This way I can see some range of things that advertisers like, and can fit budget wise. Of course we did other market research, and other extensive research to come up with out flat rate, but its good to know other people opinions.

dapyx: Yeah I also understand what you mean. Also the users will be highly targeted, and each advertiser receives a free targeting manager to help them with their advertisements.

    Keep the opinions coming!

great minds thinks alike mpcovcd, lol

ya it does depend on visitor value as well.
if you have a history of visitors and conversion rates then it would be much easier to decide on a CPC depending on your visitor value.

but even if you're promoting a high-end product and you have no idea what your conversion and "closing ratio" is, it wouldnt be wise to pay a very high price for clicks... just my opinion tho'

eastwood09: I respect your opinion, but lets hear mine too. You said PPC is rubbish? Some people pay any where from .01 cent to $10 per click, if done correctly many of those clicks can be highly converting. Now lets see affiliate marketing; You pay your affiliate any where from 45%-85%; now for a product that sells for 200 dollars thats a whole lotta money, and for a product that sells for 10 thats a whole lotta nothing. But on the flip side the product that sells for $10 isn't going to sell, because it seems you have affiliate sense in you so you would know no affiliate is going to promote a $10 product. Save for the new comers which don't know what they're going, but they probably cant sell it any ways!

So what have we learned form all of this? PPC is cheap (some times, but pays off any ways) and Affiliate marketing isnt. So you choose the one your going to promote your product with.

P.S. Not every one in this world sells a product, so PPC would also be needed for website owners just wanting to get visitors. So I wouldn't think they call it rubbish.

P.P.S Lets not turn this into a argument thread, pm me with the rest of your opinions.
