if yahoo answer can really help you?

hello, those days, i heard many people talking about yahoo answer, and it can give you traffic and backlinks. and so i built some backlinks from yahoo answer to my site:babatek.com.
my question is : how many juice will yahoo answe give you - backlinks and traffic.

 

traffic - little.
backinks - none.

If only life was so easy ... LOL

 

it is very hard to promote using yahoo answers these days. they will simply ban your account

 

but i can find some backlinks and traffic from yahoo answer. it is really no help just as the above men say?

 

I post on yahoo answers once a week, I don't think it effects SERPS but it can give a couple hits.

I guess I do it because i think it can help yahoo crawl you more, and maybe effect serps.

 

Yahoo Answers used to be easy pickings, now its got even more traffic since they cut out the obvious spam. So make a nice review landing page site with real content, and start answering away. You need to make it look legitimate if you want to not get banned. Work from multiple accounts so if one gets banned you still have others. Answer questions legitmately and well and you will be very happy with yahoo answers

 

If you weren't so focused on just making money or rising in the search engines fast you wouldn't be going through this rite now.

Anyway, you shouldn't worry about how much juice it will give you. Just know that Yahoo Answers will give you strong backlinks.

 

I've had some success with backlinks on yahoo.. they do ban you , but sometimes they miss the links and it still stays there

You can expect good answer for Yahoo Answer, but in terms of backlinks, no hope.

 

it helps but not that much compare to other link building technique...

 

You can give answer to some question there and occasionally give your link if it is relevant to the question

How do you guys define good traffic? Can over 1000 uv daily be achieved with Yahoo answers? I got only a few visitors from what I tried so I do not recommednd it much.

 

Instead of wasting your time asking a group of people with completely different opinions (and many of which are complete noobs) on what the answer to your question should be, why don't you test it yourself? Give a few well thought out non-spammy answers and link to an APPROPRIATE site that you can monitor the analytics on and see for yourself if any traffic comes in on it and what comes of it.

It doesn't matter if it does or doesn't work for the many people here, it matters if it does or doesn't work for YOU. The results of every case can vary greatly depending on the industry and audience. I find those with the most successful sites are those that are testing what works rather than asking what to do in cases like this.

 

know about backlinks but yes if you have good profile with nice ratings than you can get nice traffic from it . I personally used it for affiliates and made good money .
