Some time i think if a person who run more then 5 to 7 websites alone .and those are doing very well on web. Also that person have more then 9 to 10 email ids & only him or her knows the password .
No one else from his or her family knows about his or her all websites & their all email ids .

IF THAT PERSON DIE WHAT GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THEIR ONLINE STUFF .

if you think its a stupid question please do not reply under this thread .as am asking because have some health issues & story is same as above .

Its simple... Either they all will expire and site will stop or your ghost will need to take care of them. :)

I would reccomend maybe writing down important passwords and websites and all information down on paper and put it in a box or safe and leave a note on it.

    I hope that helps..

put all the passwords in a box and have it buried in the back yard and when you die leave the box to the person you want to give it to

If you have someone who depends on your income and stuff then set up an exit plan (no pun) so they can take over or at least sell what there is-

you have a point there. i think that kind of business must have a partner so that if ever there are incident like that the business will still run. don't go on business alone.....

If the websites are really that good, you'd put them on your will for when you die.

you will not need your websites when you die. there will be no high speed connection and computers in the grave

this reminds me of a joke....

a car thief was caught and brought against the judge. the judge asked the thief, "why did you steal the car?"
the thief answered, "your honor, i found the car right next to the cemetery. i thought the owner of the car died and he would not need it anymore."

Note down all information on your personal dairy and tell your partner or parents to open after you die.

I know a service called email the future?something like that? You can use it ,write an email about your site, and schedule it send emails one years or two later.Remember change it every year or two, depends on your configuration before. Then when you die,it will send the emails to your wife ,your children or your parents.
It's a little boring ,maybe we can considering doing something to do that automaticallly.Maybe one or two month before the domain expires?
    It's my idea

if the person wants the sites to be live on the web after his/her death, he or she must share the information who knows him or her.

The domain name company and host provider will take his or her webs back after the contracts expired. No question of that.
