I was thinking, if the VBSEO so good... VBSEO.com forum should be on the big board list. Only 13,599 members, I would think they would have over 500,000 member and on the big board list...

There's forums that use vBSEO that are on that site. AnimeOnline as an example. Shouldn't that be good enough?

You don't need 500,000 members to get into the big boards list.
It's the post count that matters.

You need 500k posts to be in the list.
And vBSEO.com Forum has about 122K posts.

It’s just a forum to serve customers of vbseo, not a general webmaster or a vbulletin forum and it is quite tough for a forum catering to only a product to reach big boards status (5,00,000+ posts), however they are on their way.

VbSEO is selling a product. Their primary objective isn't to market a big forum.

Honestly I've heard some people say good things about it, I've heard some say they are useless and even a few that have said it's harmful. I don't know the answer, and I don't think I'll ever find out. Lots of successful forums don't use it, some do.

It's hard to say, because no one really knows completely what goes on in google and how it interacts with vBSEO and plus google changes every now and then. I've seen these threads and debates many many times now and concluded that, this probably can't never be proven either side.

Not by people here at least or majority of people.

Lol, this is not comparable niche lol,
For example you can say super forum for Ferrari owners, you will be on the top positions for the keywords, buy you can't be best board of the world just because not everybody has Ferrari, and I you even had, you wouldn't sit on the forum you would ride it :)

BTW, vBSEO works fine for me.
You won't benefit much for you main keyword, but you will definitely get more hits on different forum pages for random keywords you couldn't predict.

Our customers are the only ones who can tell you how powerful vBSEO really is. Anyone who hasn't tried it can only speculate. Trust the word of those who are vBSEO-enabled. They have first hand experience. You can find them in various places on the web. One good source is our reviews forum.

As for big board status, well, our forum is primarily for customer service and support. Since a lot of posting activity there is for troubleshooting, we certainly pride ourselves on having a low post count! The better our product is, the less posting we expect to see. ;)

In reality, what we really care about is our customers. In fact, many of the thousands of vBSEO users have achieved big board status. One such forum actually became the #1 highest traffic vBulletin forum on the Web with the help of vBSEO. :)
