If the internet hadn't been invented what would you be doing now?

Do you ever think about what you'd be doing if the internet hadn't been invented? I wonder if I'd be better or worse off. I reckon I wouldn't be working for myself without it but I'd be far fitter - I wouldn't be sitting here for a start. What would you be doing?

 

As it's Saturday probably watching TV.

I thought we'd all be out enjoying a walk in the countryside or at the pub.

 

Just thinking about not having internet is scary. lol

Think about not having telephones either! Without internet and telephone I'd be working in a factory or on the land.

 

I'm okay without a phone (I have social anxiety). The internet is my place. It's the only place where I feel comfortable.

 

OMG!! I would be walking on my village streets....with no slippers atleast...

 

Thinking about this specifically worries me. To get over it i've concluded that I'd be more productive but for someone else other than myself.

I thought there would be more like you. Please answer the question: What do you think you'd be doing without the internet?

 

Thinking about this, there were a few people who went around bare foot in the 70s. You don't seem to see them anymore (at least where I live) - could it be they are all heavy internet users?
