if someone makes a search engine

    what would they need to do? besides relivent results?

    as in; advertising, what new and improved fectures would people have etc

    You will need a dedicated server, and use it to spider millions of websites 24/7 which will consume alot of bandwidth. Or you can just fetch google results.
