if *some* pages on your site go against TOS, can u put adsense on those that dont?

googles TOS says no ads on pages with what they consider to be innapropriate content.

But I just want a clarification. Do they mean no ads can go on that domain, or just the page with the violations?

    What confusion???

if a 'page' violates TOS by any means, I would not put my ads on that page..as simple as that.

I run an online rss aggregator and for testing added an adult category. I emailed G and asked if it was ok to put ads on the other pages and no adsense in the adult category. They said it was not ok. I removed the category which was a shame because for the 2 days the category was up I had like twice the usual number of uniques. I am not risking my adsense account for it.

I would contact G to make sure though because the email I got back was very generic and it didn't look like they actually read my email. If you do please post what they said here.

its simple. If you bother the tos anywhere the action will taken over your adsense account then action will taken to your account.

Yeah The Webmaster is wrong. Google reviews the whole site. You can not run ads on a site that violates their terms and policies. You can't have goat porn on your homepage and then have a page one level down with adsense ads on it.

If you have a question about Google policies and procedures it is ALWAYS best to e-mail them directly. They will provide you with an answer. This is a good way to go, because if they say yes (which they won't in this case), you can move forward worry free and with evidence to support your position.

If they say no, you can make appropriate plans to change your site or monetization of said site. In either case you are never sitting around waiting for Google to shut you down because you don't know if something is wrong or not.

Yepp, I am wrong if violation is porn, adult matterial, Mp3 or any other copyright issue. You cant have adsense on such sites...

When I said if a specific page violates the TOS, I meant if page has more than 5 pop ups/session, if page is being launched through POP-Up, If page has no content at all, pages with other contextual advertising and similar issues like that, then no ads on such pages but you can have ads on other pages

PS: Vovels, your sig is funny, whats the significance??

As for the sig.. just something funny someone said about Fryman. I don't understand it myself.

But that's a bummer you can't have goat porn...

I wanted to put some of the cleaner "sex in the city" quotes on a site, and was warned by some that even having the word "sex" on the link to that page on all my pages could be trouble.
