If send to a merchant via framed URL will it drop tracking cookie?

    I sometimes send surfers to a site via my URL and my URL shows in the address bar e.g. http://www.mysite.com/shop-at-amazon

    I've just heard that sometimes affiliate cookies don't work properly if a framed redirect is used. Is that true? Does anybody know if this affects the cookies used by CJ, for example?
