Paul has many loyal supporters, but not nearly enough to win. He should stay in it and not decide whether or not to drop out until a few weeks before election day. If it's a close race between the two front-runners, he might be able to influence their campaign promises (not that they will necessarily keep them) by essentially offering his support to whoever panders most to the Paulites. I am in favor of the "picking the lesser of two evils" voting strategy, and therefore would not vote for Paul on election day. Remember how Ralph Nader helped George W. Bush become president because he didn't drop out of the race? Al Gore might not be perfect, but does anyone really believe than he and George W. Bush are two sides to the same coin? That's what Nader was telling his supporters in 2000, and look what we got stuck with.

he sure does want change. He wants to put bible stuff in your constitution. I cannot see anything positive in that. Religion leads to intolerance and hatred towards other people

I'm one of those liberals who supports Paul primarily because of his anti-war and pro civil liberties positions so I would have to choose the next best thing on those issues - Barack Obama. Although he is far behind, I think he would be better than any of the others. Obama is the only other candidate other than Paul who was against the war from the start and he is the only other candidate who has taken any sort of a stand on civil liberties (although not nearly as strong as Paul, unfortunately.)

There is absolutely no way in hell I would ever vote for any of the other Republicans. To me they are the worst of the worst. Absolutely disgusting.

I can't believe so many people are voting for McCain at the polls. What does he represent? He's completely clueless on the economy which most people's main issue. What is he strong on? Getting us into more wars? What could possibly appeal anyone to John McCain?

I would be absolutely shocked if anyone selected Paul as VP. I just can't imagine that happening. His stances on almost all of the issues would not allow him to really coexist with any of the candidates as a VP. I don't even think he would accept such an invitation if it were handed out anyway. I mean what does he agree with McCain on for example? Almost nothing.

You can accomplish more being friends with the enemy then just stay the enemy. He could actually get stuff done as a VP believe it or not, or mabye a obessed RP supporter can take out the president and allow RP to rise to power ;)

Same here. Ron Paul supporters are a constant reminder that investing in pharmaceuticals is a sound investment strategy for the future.

Oh look, we have someone else who will parrot GTech's deception on the definition of neo-conservative.

And the Ron Paulers get accused of groupthink....

When you hear Ron Paul and/or his supporters use the term "neocon" (and oh, do they use it all the time!), rest assured, what they really mean is "Jews."

They know. They know others know. They don't care that they are exposed.

Either way you will see a democratic president, house and congress in 2008. The rape and pillage of the republican party is over.

Strawman argument. The definition of neo-conservatism is clear as day.
