Simple question, doesnt look like The Great White Hype is going to make it very far, who will you vote for, if he drops out.

Huckabee and Paul are the only two Republican candidates I like. I think it is probably time for Dr. Paul to drop out. I really don't like McCain or Romney, so I hope that Huckabee can step up, but its definitely not looking promising.

Not at all. Dropping out now, like Thompson did was strictly premature. You can bet that if Rudy was flush with cash, he wouldn't have dropped out either.

None of the above. Not voting for the lesser of two evils again.

A little change is better than no change, picking the lesser of the evils, is the only way to balance the government for the best. If you really want changes in the government (which is why RP is supposed to be the best choice) i would think you would take the best shots you have, not quitting all together, because the guy you wanted to win , cant.

If you want serious change you will not 'pick the lesser of two evils' but try to get away from the same old same old that we have been subject to for years.

McCain was my original pick before the process even started, the more and more I hear him talk, especially on immigration, the more and more I CAN NOT support him.

Huckabee I can not support, I have liked a small amount of things he's stated. So many flip flops though, pandering, and other issues really puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Romney, no idea where he actually stands on most every issue.

ATM I have no idea if I'd vote at all if RP is out, if I'd remain with the republican side or possibly even write in a candidate this time around.

You may think of it as a wasted vote, until enough people actually stand up to this two party system it will be 'more of the same'

Isint one small step in a better direction, better than a small step into the same or worse direction? I have to disagree, like i said, a little change is better than none at all. Even if Paul were to be elected, he couldnt change the system over night. It would be done in incremntal baby steps.

Im curious, from what i see of Huck, I like, what is it that doesnt sit well with you?

I don't see Huck as 'change' I see him as nothing more than pandering.
Yes RP could not do things overnight, 'more of the same pandering' is not change, it is not keeping the US on track with what it was founded on.

Look at his 'record' without the truth squads twist on things from his term as governor to start. ;)

I also do not like the 'cough' fair tax. Even his supporters have proven on this very forum not to know dick about it.

I do not see him as someone who holds the constitution above all else, far from it to be 100% honest.

I don't think there is any doubt that Huckabee wants change. The problem I see is that realistically his plans would be able to be put into action due to congress standing in the way.

I really doubt it can get worse than Bush, there would be a revolution and military dictatorship if that happens.

I think you should think a bit harder and do some research on the front-runners, and you will find out they are just a different side of the same coin.

I think the best one for the paulites to vote for will be hilary. Shoot, if you want to end the suffering, just vote for hilary so we can take care of it in one vote. Probably wouldn't have to ever vote again and the constitution can be put in the new hilary clinton library for all to see what a stupid thing that once was that has been proven false by today's scientists.

I think it's just anger that RP will not get the nominations, I can see the attacks on the republican side, but what is your so called "worser outcome" with Obama? Can you look beyond race to make a rational judgement?

And that's what some of us are concerned about with the recent Bills introduced to limit political free speech, the sanctioned use of "secret evidence" against citizens, sneak and peek searches, warrantless or self written warranted searches.

Is anyone here even aware that the President has taken the ability to declare martial law, and recess the Congress for 6 months?

I mean seriously, this stuff is unprecedented. 19 Hijackers. Nine-teen.

As a species we need to be smarter about falling into the trap of Problem => Reaction => Solution. It's going to be our undoing.

I feel that Obama would make the best change, he hasn't been corrupted by politics long enough to follow suit of every other president in the past 25 years. the check and balances need to be restored in our goverment.

if i got angry enough I'd vote for Obama just so the GOP can suffer miserably. none of them are getting my vote this year.

unless that black general, 'conservative' steps in the race. but most likely nobody will get my vote if that were to happen.
