    Hi guys:)

I was wondering, If i have a membership site and i provide members with Plr articles once they join the site, do i need to get a resale license or seller's permit from the state for this business? (they pay for the membership to the site and get free plr articles after.)

I'm sure nobody does but i just want to be sure.

It might be a dumb question cuz they are just plr articles and i think the state wants a resale/sellers permit Only if it's wholesale items from a vendor
that sells stuff like furniture and other things like that.
In other words dealing with someone that sells stuff to stores/business owners wholesale etc.

Q.2. Do any of you guys that run membership sites that provide a membership
and then provide PLR articles for members
have to get a sellers permit or resale license for this type of business?

    Anyways, Hope you guys answer:)

And Thank You All for the help:)
    I appreciate it:)

This is a trickier q then you think but here is my point on it.
You are not selling the PLR article sine you give your memebers unlimited of them. That means you are giving away the same PLR articles that you get for free and this is just a matter of distribution, totally ok.
What you charge for is access to the site, not the articles, so that will work.
Make sure that the articles still have all the links and author details when you send them off so they are not modified.
If you charge money for a PLR article it would be a different story..

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info:)

    1. So i "do not" need to get a seller's permit or a resale license correct?

    2. Also, why did you say, not to modify the articles?

    > Anyone else please jump in, especially if you run membership type sites.

Thanks again to everyone who responds:)
    I appreciate your help:)
