If i have a domain with 50 subdomains on it and one sub domain get banned by google does the whole domain and thus all its subs get kicked out too or are they considered to be different domains?

    thanks

I wouldn't say so. Subdomain means new site. Why would other domains get ban?

Googles says it treats sub domains as entirely different so if one gets banned it shouldn't affect the others. but I wouldn't want to find out

do you think tho that if they were to ban one they would be tempted to have a loko at a sample of the others to see if they are doing the same as the banned one (i wont be using them for this, its an example), lets say you made 20 bh subdomains and google bans 1.domain.com for cloaking you think they would be then tempted to have a quick look at 2.domain.com 3.domain.com etc to see if they are up to the same tricks?

If those sites were also in the google index then yes I would say they would take a look at the sites since they share the same domain name and IP address and ban them all. However what you could do is setup your website, domain.com and make it look like a hosting company. Then you can have your sub domains and have legit sites on some, and put your BH sites on another if you really wanted to.

hmm thats a very interesting idea there, i do still own some bh scripts from the old days may just try it more out of interest than anything.

The only downside i can see to this however would be that all the subdomains would share the same registration information. Is google actually allowed to view this information, surley in the UK (where i am) it would be covered by the data protection laws?

subdomains are completely new domains for search engines.

because of this , i think if a subdomain is banned from google, it will not effected the all domains

i think not, as they've said, sub domains are considered new sites on search engines. you only have the same IP with the other sub domains though...

Lol, think about it in this way:
Nearly every hosting company offer free subdomain. So if they give away 99999999 subdomains to 9999999999 clients, will whole company stay banned?:D
