I have a few ideas for sites which will be built around popular search phrases. Will the site be indexed quicker if the domain name includes my main keywords? I presume if this is the case, it would rank well in a niche market? I appreciate any comments. Mark
Whether your site gets indexed quickly or not doesn't depend on the anchor text you use for your links. Put your site in your DP sig, and submit a sitemap. You should get a visit from the bots However, your position in the search engines for your targetted keyword can be greatly improved if you get quality backlinks with those keywords as your anchor text.
No, but it help a lot to your site, its only a part to get a rank. indexing in the search engine is depending in the structure of your site and your targeting keyword would be benifiacial if its relevant to your site. i hope you get my point.
At least you'll get higher rankings in MSN search engine if you have exact keywords in your domain name.
Yes, having your major keywords in your domain will do help in your ranking in most SE. But be sure also to fully optimize your site such positioning your keywords in your sites contents as well as those offpage optimization such as link building. Good luck!
Yes, try to place it in the URL... But make the name easy to remember. www.romantic-vacations-in-germany.com is not a very good domain.
One of my favorites is www.bostonmassage.com Just completely crap website but #1 for the keywords...... you got it boston massage. Make sure you turn your speakers up. M
The most effective wayto get indexed faster is to use signature link in forums. Directory submission also helps but requires time so forums sig is the best way. If your keyword appeared on your domain name it can help you rank with that keyword but it will also depend on your site optimization. Get quality links and create text content on your site. Spiders love text content
