Hey Everyone, So I'm planning a PPC campaign but know that my budget will be smaller than the amount of traffic available but a long shot. Am I better off avoiding Google (my perception is that it is more expensive) and choosing something like 7search or NBCsearch where the cost per click is likely to be lower for the same keywords? Is the quality of traffic significantly worse? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have time to make...
Not necessarily. You may pay less per click, but odds are that the content is worth much less too --pay for what you get type deal.
I found google's service to more than make up for any disadvantage in cost by: - it's close integration with analytics - it's simplicity - it's reputation & trustworthiness - the value of learnings to be applied when your budget increases later
My first experience with Google was less than stellar, or my expectations were too high. However I got some help from right here on the boards with how to organise my site and to choose keywords better. Now I'm planning to make another go.
Looks like the verdict is that Google is worth the money... I'm going to take that to heart even though it runs a little counter to my bargain-hunting nature... Thanks for the taking the time to share your thoughts everyone...
