...The world will see what its like when you put angry starving pitbulls in a dark cage and open it up days later... Both sides are religious extremism at its finest. Anyone have any predictions?
actually in response i don't know... you are definitely right on this one.. our army today is not the army we had 40 years ago.. our soldiers are not the ones we had and the motivation is down.. my dad served his whole 3 years in lebanon...
This is war not a football game , both sides will suffer and we are sorry for both sides losses. For the Palestinians it is hard to stand against a regular army , for the Israel part it is hard to supress a nation with an army you can supress a nation for a time period but not forever.
i know what you are talking about.. we lost it, and it was the biggest shame we ever had, the troops motivation was down, the money cake wasn't sliced in the right way, the high-levels got too much money and their heads were in the clouds, the troops was sent to death, no one could admit it but there was no point of sending them, there was a lot of mistakes which made by the high levels, a big shame but there is no point of regretting, we have to squeeze out consequences, learn from the past and pay attention to the future
I hope you do know the difference between the war in lebanon and what's happening now and you're just joking...
There is no difference ... the same terrorist army... Only killing Innocents (chlindrens / old men ..)
I won't predict but you can read in the Israeli announcements, from "changing the game rules" or from removing Hamas, to securing the area around Gaza after 8 days of air-strikes.
It won't change a shit as usual. Only body count will go up as usual. Maybe rockets will stop after another occupation but on the other hand we'll see other forms of attacks.
that is very true, as Israel is very strong, they have one of the most modern weapons in the world. and Palestine has low tech weapons. So it doesn't matter how angry they are, best thing for them to do is make peace.
The pitbulls are cornered, and military strategists know that when an army has nowhere to go, they fight the hardest. Modern weapons is not the holy grail of winning a war - Vietnam anyone??
You are making the assumption that the Gaza pitbulls are fighting poodles. The Israeli forces are just as much pitbulls and just as angry. You seem to forget that they are fighting to protect their homes and families from rocket attacks. I'd like to concede your point about Vietnam but I just can't. This is a completely different time and you need to recognize that. Smart weapons capable of taking out a single floor in a building, GPS tracking of troop movements, real time communications via satellite, superior situational awareness for commanders, tanks, open terrain (no jungles to hide in). War is fought completely differently now thanks to the lessons learned in that conflict and the war in Iraq/afghanistan. There is no longer the "surprise" advantage for the guerrilla fighters. Unlike the way we (the U.S.) went into Iraq, Israel has been planning this attack for months (years?) and knows exactly what to expect. Israel's objective is to go in and destroy the enemy's capability to fire rockets. Guess how many rockets have been fired since the ground invasion.... 1. And guess what the pitbulls are doing as the Israelis move in and occupy.... hiding amongst women and children.
Israel is Inside for more then 12 hours now... If you want to read some good Israeli newspaper - http://ynetnews.com - you could find all Israeli news there...
