can it be under someone elses name? I don't really want to use my real name for the one that I am planning on doing. I know that if you are an author on ezinearticles you can use a different name, is this alright?

You can write under Santa Claus name. It doesn't really matter.

Use the pen name "Charles Manson". You'll be a hit.

Using a pen name is quite common for certain types of products (like
ebooks about colon cleansing, etc...) Not too many authors dare to
    use their real name :D

    Hey guys,

Yeah me too, pen names are the way to go. Otherwise, if you use your real name and you have a ton of unrelated products, people are going to google you and see all the unrelated stuff and assume the worst.

You can use a pen name. It is pretty interesting to see all the backlinks on your real name however.
