If I went to the library and clicked

If I went to the library and clicked my ads a hundred times would it count as a hundred clicks? Also, I'm moving to Syracuse soon, will google know?

I know we cannot click our own links, but how would they know if we moved? Or even went next door?

If you clicked 100 times, yes it would probably count as 100 worthless clicks.
Your deception would also be spotted very quickly.

they're not all from the same/similar ip address are they? library computers are bound to be networked and share the same ip address.

Click fraud doesn't work, trust me. Make money the legit way.

Also, think about all the Adword's Publishers too. Do they really want to spend all of this money on worthless clicks?

If google finds anything suspicious going on, it will suspend your account. Not worth taking risk. Try to make money through adsense without cheating the system.

its not about they know or not if you click your adsense ads but they can do anything that every adsense player really scared. So if you really want to make a serious earning with google, avoid such act that never benefit you at all :)

If they notice one IP address clicking the adds a ton of times theyll know ur cheating.

If you only clicked a couple times from the lib u might get away with it ... but then its not really a big help to you getting like 2 clicks. In the end the only way to make money off adsense is legitimately i think, just concentrate on increasing ur traffic.

What I don't get is what happens if someone goes onto their competitions website and just clicks adds like mad to try and get them banned, what happens in this case and how could they detect that it is not the account holders fault? That seems like it would be the toughest.

To be perfectly truthful, I clicked a few times @ the library on my old blog. It really doesn't help generate much revenue, a couple of dimes maximum. It's not really worth the risk.

Repetitive clicking on competitors sites is an old school way of getting them banned. But they can request it be looked into, and depending on the ip info and other google behind the scenes stuff, can reinstate them.

    Hi,
When you click 100 times on your ad at the library, those clicks were from the same IP address. They will bound to be detected by Google. However, if you click 100 times on different days, it will not be that obvious.

If you know it's not correct (against adsense rules), then don't even try.
