if i want to target FOR EXAMPLE both BMW & Benz. when visitor search bmw or benz, my site will on first page. just for EXAMPLE , i will not target so high competitive kws on homepage. my question is: using BMW & Benz as anchor text is good or bad? this way, both bmw and benz are targeted?
If those were my target keywords I would change it up a bit.... BMW Benz Benz and BMW Benz & BMW BMW - Benz etc.
If i have understood your question correctly, you want to target 2 keywords in the same niche? I would first reccomend you target the 2 keywords individually. So target BMW and then target Benz. Once you are ranking well for these keywords then move on to targetting them both together!
no, i only want to targe one kws. like blue bmw, cheap benz, used bmw,new benz, bmw or benz my question is if i use bmw - benz as anchor text, they will good for ranking for above kws? yes, i will also use blue bmw or cheap benz as anchor text.
You will want to use a variety of link anchor texts. It helps for some of those links to be the exact phrase you want to target. So as SilkySmooth stated, target the keywords separately. So if you want to target both blue bmw and blue benz, I would get separate links for each phrase. By using something like 'blue bmw & benz' it will still help you, but probably not as much. Using the exact phrase will help rankings on MSN & Yahoo as well. When I get links I like to target at least 5 - 10 keyword phrases at a time for each page. That also keeps your links looking natural. If you get too many links with the same anchor text it looks spammy and could result in a penalty.
i think, you can't use 2 different keywords in 1 anchor text. u can use search term as a anchor. if u want optimize your site for 2 keywords, then u would make links with both single keywords.
