If I want to buy a piece of commercial property, do I need a Real Estate LIcense?

    In many state the law requires professional property mangers to have a real estate license, so I want to know that If I want to buy a piece of commercial property and manage it myself, do I need a Real Estate License?

    Why would you ask this question in the legal section of a webmaster forum? The only reason I could see is that you're trying to get free exposure for the links in your signature. If you're really dealing in this area, go see a lawyer or find a real estate forum.

    I don't think you need a license to buy property, I think that's for selling property, and even then, selling as a business. there's always "for sale by owner", these people don't have a license, and shouldn't need one. Otherwise nobody would buy property!
