Alright, I have a new blog with a couple ads on it. I was wondering if you guys think I could get my money back, plus more, if I spent $100 on advertising. You can check out the site at www.willietc.blogspot.com Is it worth spending money on? Do you think it would be a complete waste? I would also be buying a domain first. Please share your thoughts. P.S. Not one person has clicked on an ad since I have had the website, but there have only been 120 visits, so I don't know if advertising would even help with that..?
Are you asking if spending $100 on advertising is going to generate at least your investment in PPC? Absolutely not, you'll end up loosing a lot of money.
You wont get your money back but you will get atleast 25% of it back. Speaking from experience, you need to come to terms that you will loose a few bucks before your blog blows up and makes it. Keep it interesting and make sure people will want to come back before you buy ads. Yes use templates, not the default. peace
PPC advertising would be a waste of time, unless you are promoting some good product and you could get sales.
Advertising through PPC is not a very good way of making money if your banking on making money through adsense. I would advise organic SEO traffic. Spend $100 on link building services and keyword research, that way you will make your money back eventually.
i think don't try to advertise this blog, if you want to invest your money then invest in some unique articles.....and i suggest you to signup with CPA and you can put a survey on page load.........so you can make earnings
It certainly depends. You could make money through the visitors you paid for if you send them to a specific page where you try to sell a product. But otherwise I would save the money. Focus on creating content and connecting with other people instead. In the end it's worth a lot more.
Check my signature for free ways to market this blog. If you do well, donate the $100 to me (kidding). I use to spend thousands on PPC, til I woke up and realized there are much better ways. Cheers, Mukul
I'll say now - your site really made me lol! Great content, if you can get a post like that atleast once a day, you'll get loads of viewers, and I'll be one On topic though, if you have $100 to spend, I'd suggest buying a domain name and possibly hosting for your blog, for obvious reasons.
I don't know how anyone can make any assumptions. This is part of the game of internet marketing. No one can guarantee that you'll get a single dime back from your PPC ventures or any other advertising ventures. However, I can tell you that you will never know what your ROI will be unless you try. Plan on losing it all, hope that you will see a return. The biggest part of marketing is testing, testing, and more testing. You keep what works, toss or revise (and know when to toss/revise) what isn't working. Good luck!
Actually. What is the obvious reason for buying hosting? I'm pretty much a "noob" with this stuff. Lol. Is it because if I do get a lot of traffic blogger won't be able to handle it?
