If I sell a site, what exactly does the buyer get?

When I sell a domain, it's only the domain-name that goes to the buyer, right?

If I sell a site, am I right that the buyer only buys the domainname + the content?

meaning the hosting of the site will be entirely up to the buyer to choose and pay for?

    Thanks,

    Stef

    hi again,

    You can sell:

    - just the domain
    - domain plus site (script, content, etc)
    - domain plus site plus hosting (if you also offer a hosting service)

Each case is different and those terms should be talked between you and the buyer.

Clarify everything in your sales copy.

This post should give enoug information:

The hosting can be given to buyer at the will of the seller but not necessary.
