If I run 20 blogs

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by BonusOnline, Jun 3, 2007.

Assume I have 20 blogs, and one unique IP visit my blog and see other blog interested, and then the same IP visit 5 of my blogs and click 4 0f 5 blogs or even click 2-3 ads on my blogs. Is this suspect to be banned by google or not? Let say my traffic about 100 IPs per day and total blogs 20 blogs , CTR about 3-4% only.

I asked this, I am not going to make something against google adsense policies. But I would like to know, suppose this happen to me in the future.

Please advice, thank you in advance for every replied ^_^

It will probably look suspicious but strictly speaking I don't see why it would be a problem. I think that the chances of a person naturally visiting 4-5 of your blogs in sequence, assuming that you link to other sites as well, are pretty slim. That is to say since the odds of this happening are against you, if it happens too often, then Google will become suspicious about the clicks being natural; and they will know that all are your blogs because you will use the same AdSense code on all of them which is different than exchanging links with people and sharing traffic.

BTW, I think the big blog networks such as Weblogs Inc. actually do connect all their blogs together to move traffic around and in a way maximize their profit. Because someone who does not buy something on the first blog might buy something on the second. But those guys are big and they can do as the wish.

If the same IP is clicking a lot on ads that have your ID number it is suspicious yes of course. And specially if it is different sites.

Yes, it will be suspicious. Google could end up deducting some $$ from your account at the time of payment, saying that they detected false clicks etc.

Do it 2-3 times and you're banned.
    That's not a good plan.

Since the clicks originate from different URLs so I don't think it matters. But I strongly recommend you clear this out with Adsense Support.

it is very dangerous to do so, if a person clicks your ads, i mean the same ad code, at very short time, you will be banned very quicly.

It could be a problem, but Google will know the clicks are originating from different sites - they will also know the sites are linked together.

i don't see any problem with it........but one policy of google does say that "Don't tell any one to click on your Ads" it may come against that policy!

It won't be a problem, not until the same visitor comes back over and over again and clicks ads on your blogs.

This is not against Google standards by any means, so you don't have to worry about it. Just ensure that you/your associates are not the ones who would be clicking those ads. If that's taken care of, then there seems to be no problem.

    Best regards,
    ~G

    Hi again.

    This is me, thread starter.

Thank you for all replies above. Today I come up to show the stat and say that Google adsense team know that I didn’t make anything wrong. It’s not my fault, so I am not fear anymore.

On that day, maybe because of I posted at least 3 threads in 3 forum, and lead so many traffic into my site, then the clicks happen the same time, maybe the same IP I am not so sure, but it so strange for me, and I am afraid Google will considered this is click fraud.

But finally nothing happen to me and my adsense account, I am still in good standing and keep running to achieve my first 100$ cheque (so far and so tired now hehe)

Here it is, my blog and you can see above said suspected clicks (picture shown)

    Take a look at http://show-pics.blogspot.com/
