If I put my video on YouTube will it ever get viewed?

    If I put a video of my business on YouTube will it ever get found? There are so many videos there, mostly for entertainment.
    Is it even worth it to create a video of my busness services and posted it there? Unless my video is unusual or shocking it probably won't get viewed or shared, correct?

    You will have to do some promotion of your video. You will have to post video links at relevant places. Also you will need to optimize the video for more search traffic.

    are u that lazy? y not just put it up anyway, it takes like less than a minute then u just wait for it to upload


    i mean most likely it wont get many views unless make the title interesting and something people would actually search for


    but yea people dont go to youtube to watch videos about business services

    id post it up anyways just cuz i would wanna see tho

    It helps to have it in a blog or website with a description of what your clip is about, like this

    Tags will also help, picking the right category (entertainment, science, technology etc)

    I send clients a sample of my work using U-tube and its useful for me to give clear examples of my previous work. People also find my sample video through my website and also through U-tube so I do get some traffic with out making any effort.

    It doesn't cost anything put it up anyway, popularity of your video will depend on how good your video is and how relevant the content is to the users search

    It's definitely worth putting it up. I know some people that have had huge success with their youtube videos, earning even views in the hundreds of thousands. Although these are a lucky few, and usually are people that had quite successful blogs, etc linking to their video it still shows that it can be a very useful marketing and promotional tool.

    As has already been mentioned, pay particular attention to creating great tags that are likely to be searched for and an attention grabbing title. You never really know what's going to do well on this site. Another great advantage of placing a video on youtube is that people trust it as a website. Therefore if you link to it on any other pages advertising it people are more likely to explore your link due to the association of the name.

    It's also worth having friends and family take a sneaky peek - extra pageviews never hurt anyone. :)
