If I purchase traffic

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by FMDiscussion, Nov 1, 2008.

If I purchase traffic for my forum, and i have google ads is there something I should be worried about? OR should I NOT purchase the traffic because it could get me banned?

If anyone has any information or experience it would be vital help for me.

    Thank you

I'm doing quite poorly with google ads right now, earned about $16.78 in 3 days being on there. :(

Bought traffic just gets you into all sorts of trouble you do not want to deal with. May not get you banned but will get you penalized

$16 in three days is not bad for a beginner

My forum doesn't get much traffic this is the issue, which is why I considered getting some traffic. However, if I get penalized or banner I won't take the risk. If anyone has any tips on how to get more clicks it would be well appreciated.

Thanks for the help once again.

Participate in social bookmarking network. It is one of the fastest and easiest way to get huge amount of traffic in a very short time. Number of clicks you get on ads are directly related to the amount of traffic you have. Since you have little traffic now, why not consider marketing your forum first before thinking of monetizing it.

Well my plan now is it:

1 ) Leave the ads and hopefully it'll gain a minimum amount of income, but I will work on marketing it. Would you say social bookmarking includes the likes of submitting information to digg? Can you ive some examples of how to market well?

Marketing a forum is slightly more difficult compared to marketing a blog. Blog can have quality content coming out every 2-3 days while it makes no sense to bookmark forum threads. Honestly speaking, I have no experience in marketing a forum but if I were to do it, I would do blog commenting on relevant niches for exposure. Once a small community is there for the forum, I will email active bloggers to take a look at the forums. Alternatively if you have spare cash, paid blogs to do a review on your forum will work too.

Amount of earnings so low, if I get 79 clicks then it will be at least $30

Holy fuck you people really have no clue, do you? Go buy ads through AdWords and send the traffic to your forum -> OMG THE TRAFFIC WAS BOUGHT GOOGLE WILL BAN ME.

Buying a bajillion visits from China might get you banned, but not buying traffic in general. Using your brain is really hard, huh?

If you're thinking that purchasing traffic will increase your adsense earning through clicks - it won't. Bought traffic isn't interested in anything on your site - it most likely isn't even human.

I frequent SU and that is where most my traffic comes from. I believe in focusing effort on a single location rather than splitting it over many areas. Written my experiment regarding SU in this thread. You can read it if you are interested.

You stay away with your bullshit. If you can't purchase traffic you can't advertise your site at all. Go get a brain.

traffic be sure to check the company out. If they are pay people to go to sites for (ie. 20 seconds) which some of them do you will get banned from google. Any third party who pays others for clicks will put u in the hot seat.

Sorry to say but many in the traffic area in this forum do not disclose that they do it but they do.
