can i use it for my english site to show english ads?

i believe you can run ads in any language that match the content of the page. If the page is english, the ads should be english, if its japanese it will be in japanese etc.

Just make sure the new site is compatible with Google AdSense TOS.

 

The ads of the site is relevant to the site content including the language the content is written.

In fact, I had an article which was written completely in english but referred to many italian names and locations and this was enough to spawn italian adsense ads every once in a while.

 

yes, you can. On your application they will ask for the main language of your site. Just pick one. After that they won't mind showing ads on other sites, even in other languages. I don't remember whether I said 'Dutch' or 'English' for my main site, and it ended up not making a difference. I have 60% english and 40% dutch content and google will show me dutch ads when I look at english content and I assume other people see ads targeted at their region if it's in google's inventory.
