My site is 2 months old, and I have just reached google PR1 for my site. Does that mean I am not in the google sandbox?

PR doesn't affect to Sand box.
In sort time if you got many links mean by spamming with k/w stuffing than you should banned.

Your getting too worried about Sandbox.

It takes a while to rank well for competitive keywords.

And PR really has no effect on the Sandbox.

Actually ... some research we did show that if you get links from authority sites e.g techcruch , mashable and many others depending on your website focus, sandbox doesnt even exist.. i have clients that get up with a domain less than 3 months.. =)
