If I have a redircting link for my website from co.nr will backlinks still work?

    I have a free hosting website and the subdomain name is very ugly

    so i used a redirection link thing for it and renamed under myname.co.nr

    if i put my site name bluepants.co.nr as the backlink on other sites will it still count?
