Holla... Yes... here the one... I have sign up in CJ a year ago. and after i have think and think.. Its worthy deal to make use affiliate service in some off my site. And by this threads. I want to asked for all member here.. What the best product to seel in from CJ.. A category and maybe the item of your category. I dont want to hijack some one for make some question. In condition to steal your chance... But lets talk and discuss here.. and i hope many many people have spend a lil time to answer some question here... regards Cybersquate
cybersquate, I cant speak specifically for CJ, but from my experience, brand names sell well. Many big brand names throw in big advertising budget offline so most people are already pre sold and exposed to them. If you can rank high for these names (can't possibly do it with PPC as most are trademarks) you have some money in the bank. With this mindset, I am able to make some nice income with my BANS store
I'm a big fan of lead generation programs like insurance, mortgage...but there are many good per sale merchants in CJ and Linkshare. Hard to say though you have to go into your account in CJ, click Get Links and enter a phrase in the search box like "womens gifts" or something like that to get the merchants that convert well based on their EPC.
I am also looking for assistance! I do not know much about CJ. But when reading all the forum contents I came to know that some are really earning and most are yawning!!! A suggestion is the most suitable product to sell?? But no body is willing to guide the mass???? and they can't and won't?? Anybody believes in abundance theory??
Sell whatever is most relevant to your website. If you're building out a new website, sell products or services that are available from multiple advertisers (so all your eggs aren't in one basket), items that people are willing to buy online, and items that will give you a decent commission from the time you put into your site.
I think that there are quite a few people exaggerating their $ from CJ, and that most of us are in the small to mid range of earning. Not to say there aren't some people earning the big bucks, just nowhere near the amount of people reporting that they are. Not too long ago, I was in a similar position, looking for the "answer" for making $ on CJ. The answer is that there is no ONE way to do this, so you will be hard pressed to find an answer that fits the masses. Much of the advice in this thread has been solid- pick a niche, preferably something you know about or have an interest in, and work from there. I'll give you the basic process of how myself and many here are making at least a few bucks off CJ each month: 1. Sign up with CJ 2. Sign up with ebay 3. Pick a niche to work with 4. Build a site about the niche - use plr articles or rss feeds for quick content. WP works really well for this. Better yet, write your own original content. 5. Buy phpbay pro for $40 - use it to add ebay auctions to your site for the niche you have chosen 6. Promote your site so it gets traffic. Click my sig for an example of the above steps No magic, just some hours in front of your computer. The magic seems to come in on the last step- how to get people to your site so they will click on your links and buy something on ebay. I'm not an expert on that part, so maybe someone else would be willing to chime in to answer that part. Good luck!
It all depends upon the niche of your website. Try to find CJ affiliate products that would be of interest to your visitors
Many thanks for each one that answer my post here.. and after one by one question make me want to asked more here.. i hope anyone could share more here .... Am i know a sample like you said about ? I see so if i youre in a big option... what you have to choose on below. 1. Geek Product that have average search but have a Big competitor or, 2. A general product, people dont search in anytime and have medium competitor, or.. 3. .... (your option ) You mean i have an RSS site that lead all visitor that was come from search engine to your site and buy it in ebay and youll got commision ? Are you sure, search engine still have tolerance to rss site ? Im not hijacking, i want to know because some people said rss site is sux... anyway thanx for your answer, i hope theres someone could explain my question here...
As I've said before, there's no best product - there are best products for certain niches, or for certain advertising methods that you happen to be good at. I didn't make it to where I am by asking other people - I made it this far by doing keyword research & finding where other affiliates weren't advertising. Then I jumped in.
All I know is that banners don't convert. They don't convert for me for any product I have ever tried. They look good but that's about it.
