Yes, never ask ANYONE to click on your ads. Even if they live halfway across the world, just be cautious and leave your ads to yourself (and your visitors).

Um, um,.... um... did I say um already?

Sure, you can get banned without telling others to click on your ads if you want. Just continue asking!

Very easy way to get banned to ask your friends to click - They click and Google notes timestamps for impressions and clicks -

In result your blog gets impressions and clicks when you are online - Which means you are using none-organic ways to get impressions and clicks.

Be Genuine - Earn what ever you want but stay peacfull - when you cheat you are never in peace :)

Very bad idea. Even had an associate check out one of my sites and he clicked and clicked. I had to explain that to Google.

I reckon you should ask all of your friends to click and find out. Why listen to DP members? What would we know? :D

It is written in the TOS of Google very clearly. have not you read it? The thing that you want to do is not allowed according to the TOS of google.

You can promote your site to your friends though - it's an obvious first place to start with blogs. The ads are contextual so anyone with an interest in the content (including friends) may well click. The thing is not to mention the ads - I should think it would be against the TOC to ask them not to click - but I may be wrong.
