What does this have to do with the fact that women should have to register for selective service?

You guys really need to get over Al Gore losing the 2000 election. Seriously... that was 8 years ago, dudes.

Al Gore lost and now he's making millions scamming everyone with the fake global warming BS. What a loser. :p

I am surprised that people bother replying to AGS...

Anyway, Al Gore is a winner for the losers that support him.

To me he's one of many hypocrites.

It was a response to this post of yours. Read your posts dude lol.

Al Gore is a total fake, just like Global Warming is. Do not try and make it a Democrat versus Republican thing, they are both as bad as each other.

    LOL :)

Man, I think this would be the easiest way to destroy Hillary's campaign. No woman will vote for her if word gets out that women will be required to sign up for selective service if she gets elected.

    Dig those ditches, biatches! :D

That shows how clueless some women are. The draft is in place this is why young males register or go to prison when they are 18, they have no choice. Young males don't have all this "my body my choice" freedom that women do. Nor are many women clamoring for the "equal rights" to be drafted, only for cash money in thier pockets, which by the way women control about 85% of in my country (The U.S.). Which is why advertising is primarily geared towards women because they have more money.

Trust me when the government tell young males to go and register for the draft it's not for a cool breeze on a summer afternoon.

    Draft means draft...period!

There is a political knee jerk reaction from hard line republicans that inevitably blames the democratic party for everything.

    Lets see.

Bush wanted to go to war.
Congress approved the war. Congress was dominated by a Republican majority even as a few Republicans were not for the war in Iraq.

Once the war started it was totally in the hands of the military, the Pentagon, and the Bush administration.

A quick military victory against the iraqi military occurred and Saddam was overthrown.

Over the next year to two levels of violence in Iraq continued to increase. Borders weren't sealed, enormous amounts of weaponry was available, Shiite-Sunni civil war expanded and fundamentalist terrorist sunnis from outside Iraq joined with natives to increase violence across the nation.

The administration, the Pentagon, the military, and certain civilian elements of the administration were all in charge.

The violence increased. The majority of American soldiers dying at this time were the result of IED's. The Pentagon under Rumsfeld was slow and non-responsive too better protecting soldiers.

Members of Congress from both parties pushed for greater armaments and protection against IED's and despite obvious and reproted Pentagon slowness.

Violence got worse through 2006 and 2007. Bush had total control of decisions that were happening.

Where, Mr. Knee Jerk, I'm going to blame dems even though they are not in charge, were dems responsable for the war not being won.

Is Bush only responsable for his administration when something goes right and NEVER responsable for his administration when things don't go right.

I repeat, the US military is doing things in this war that we haven't done in decades; huge call ups of national guard for extended stays way beyond what they expected or originally signed up for and huge usage of mercenary guards that we have never ever used in modern times. Those are facts. They portray the overextended character of the military that military leaders, themselves, continue to discuss.

Should women be forced to register for a draft? NO.
