I have no doubt that Google would provide an excellent hosting service with no downtime whatsoever. However, I can't shake the feeling that I wouldn't want any one company to have a monopoly on the internet... and Google are definitely heading that way
of course i would use them. because, the pages would get indexed in google faster as the blogspot posts and google pages do.
Nope .... Im very happy with our current hosting provider and if i wanted free id go threw yahoo (geocities) thx malcolm
No, i will not use them even if it costs 0.25 USD per month. The feeling of being watched on every keystroke, every mouse, every click and every pause.
But I don't think that Google is going to inhanch in something like that. They want something that will intrest users. This would intrest webmasters or bussiness people. Google currently is trying to inhanch in stuff offline.
I would definitely use them, with all they offer free, how well do you think they would take care of you as a paying customer?
Depends... Would my sites receive better rankings? If so then absolutely. But don't be giving google any ideas now... Monopoly!!!
Hell yeah I'd do it. Google can enjoy looking and doing their research on my traffic--not like they aren't doing so with AdSense. I'd sign up in a heart beat. Pay/Free.
Absolutely... Google = Best I trust Google for most of my online revenue. I already have a hosting package with DreamHost, which is extremely good. But if Google offers webhosting, them I'll jump on it right away.
If the price was fair then I'd move everything I got towards them. They are Number 1, and I'm sure they would be stable.
Ummm Google already offers Webhosting for domains. I didn't know about all the new features of Google till a friend of mine moved his entire business to Google Apps, you can host your website with Google, Email, Calendar, etc.. Their web/domain hosting is very basic at the moment and doesn't provide MySQL or anything like that, just a simple WYSIWYG editor and some Google addons,
I think if they really wanted to they could put together a very compelling service since they basically have the back end infrastructure put together to offer that type of service.
