If Google collapses, there are also other choice, such as Yahoo, bing,Alltheweb, Excite, AltaVista.

What makes you think google will ever collapse? They have enough value to sell of various parts of the company if they ever needed to raise funds; if it did ever happen the brand is too strong to go unnoticed and someone else with a lot of money would come in and buy them....

Relax, its not going to happen any time soon. (If you fear for the worst and suspect its on the horizon, go and make sure you have plenty of rankings in yahoo and bing and get your mailing list open again....)

yeah right.. you have to be flexible.. make sure that your site also tanks on other search engines and not on one browser alone..

one thing i've heard from a bunch of gurus lately is to diversify your traffic sources... use Facebook for paid traffic too, use linkedin, yahoo, msn, 7search, ask.com etc... all good sources. Make sure you have a plan B or you'll get surprised one day (no matter what it is... could even be getting kicked out of adsense) and you could be screwed and have to start over or you could take a small hit but keep going strong.

i agree using facebook ppc is the best way and i have seen many direct visitors in my weight loss niche. not a bad way to makret. if your not in it, then i suggest trying to play around with it since it is still pretty new...
