My sites would not die if Google banned me. Google Adsense is a very small part of my website revenue strategy. My revenue sites are also indexed in Yahoo and MSN, and I get a lot of repeat visitors besides organic searches so I think I would be okay.

    Hope I understood your question!

A few of my sites are already banned in Google...and I am still alive...:D.

    My strategy?

    make more sites.
    diversify your revenues.

I'm in the same boat as sachin410. There is plenty of money to be made through seo without having to rely on Google. Obviously the money is lower than if some of my sites weren't penalized by Google.

I don't use google adsense, so it wouldn't hurt my site any. As far as page rank, that may hurt me. A lot of members find my site through google.

I would cry for a couple days. But after that I would just make a new site and try even harder.

As for the traffic, it would not matter. I most my traffic from other places than Google. As for adsense, it would kill some of my sites. I would have to find a new ad program.

I don't think he is talking about adsense.. since it's in the search forum, I would say he is referring to google search ;)

Yes, this is why I mentioned that my sites are indexed in other search engines and I get a lot of repeat visitors and don't rely on just organic search :p

I don't think it would make a difference for me, since Yahoo! Slurp is the main spider indexing my site followed far away by Google.

50% of my traffic (about 60K unique visitors/month total) comes from Google.

Since mine is a nonprofit site, losing Google traffic would have no effect on the bottom line. It would, however, cause me to devote much more time to the niche-related, direct email strategy I have been using, which has been drawing a good number of visitors. For me, that would be probably the most effective way to begin to make up for the loss of Google traffic.

Bad for me, I don't know what to do because 99% of my traffic came from google.
And, almost all of my monetizing resource base on google PR and alexa rank.
