Why dont any of the big sites use them? I dont think myspace does, any of the news sites, most of the big social networking sites dont either..... I have no real proof but from what I see thats how it is. And dont send me hatemail....I still use adsense..haha I was just wondering.....
Myspace uses adsense. They're a premium publisher. Neopets, marapets and various other gaming sites use them too.
There are other CPM based ad networks that might work better for them given impressions they deliver. and yes they use adsense
some of the big stes use adsense, only the look its different. because the they are premium publisher. they can change the adsense look
because adsense doesn't pay very much. big sites make more on in house or using a big network like advertising.com. if they do use adsense,it is a secondary ad network and not in a premium spot. look at imdb.com,they had adsense,but now are using kanoodle.the adsense ads were in the same spots.
Some big site is using adsense but it's premium adsense they don't need "ads by google" and even has highlight feature, therefore we don't know it's adsense too
Big sites can do much better selling private ads. Think about it - you have an ad spot, and you can use Adsense and get some pennies per click, or you can sell the whole spot in one go to an advertiser for thousands of dollars. The second way, you know what your final outcome is, you get it all upfront, and will most likely get more than using Adsense.
