I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with submitting to IEntry Network directories? I am aware that they add you to their newsletter mailing list and you will get a ton of spam once submitted BUT...do they add your link that you submitted to their directory? Pretty easy to get around the spam by setting up an email address which you intend to use simply for submission purposes. I was also wondering if anyone knew who the owner of IEntry is and what their DP User Name is as I understand he is a member. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
They have more than 200 directories on the same IP address. The description is not unique and even their captcha doesn't work. (try entering incorrect captcha, it will still work). I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on iEntry network's directory.
A few days ago I hired someone here at DP to submit my site to a certain number of directories. And it happened that he submitted to a whole lot of sites under ientry network. Now I'm getting a load of spam every few minutes. But they do add your links. They have already approved some of mine. I knew about that network two years ago and never wanted to have anything to do with them again. But this submitter got me involved all over again. "Your submission is being processed" emails come several times for many days. Maybe, ientry mailing script has a bug.
iEntry is basically email marketing company. By submitting to their network you thereby authorize them to send you emails.
If you are submitting to a network where you will benefit 1% your suggestion is useful, but if you know something is totally crap why waste time even submitting?
yes, i agree with @humm, there have a lot people want doing this business, but not all know how to do that... What happen next? there have a lot spam directory out there....
Before I submit to their sites I would 100% for sure set up a fake email address just for submissions. Never give out the real address. I was just wondering if the links actually do get approved or if they simply take your email address and you get no benefit from it whatsoever. If they approve your link I see benefit in it. You'll never feel any pain if you use a seperate email account.
iEntry is part of Jayde directories network and they publish webpronews.com online news magazine-which sometimes can be very useful. On the flip side they use their free directories to harvest email addresses for purposes of spamming. If you can, stay away from them.
iEntry directories are as useful as toilet paper. Wipe, drop, then flush. Personally I would not waste any time with them.
