The harder ms tries to do better with ie the more they tend to fail. It would probably go over with the average internet user that is accustomed to having the big "e" on their desktop and do not know any better or anything else. It will be a difficult task for ie to win back all the users they have lost already to mozilla firefox and google chrome.
it's preview. it's not even supposed to be used except to test the rendering (otherwise they would of implemented a navigation bar).
Microsoft resources are wasted on *total crap* like this. They have no respect for web standards and how to actually make products which are not only good for the general user but also for the programmer behind the scenes.
Does it really matter even if there is 6 times improvement over their present version? The present version is anyway crap and so a 6 times improvement.. if at all, is not going to make any substantial difference in its quality! Regards, RightMan
I have big doubts he worked for Microsoft; if so, that's a very poor way to reach people. At least get a premium membership and brand yourself with the forum admins etc...
Thats sounds interesting but according to its first Review Microsoft amended to higher system compatibility! which can things uneven for several users!
Google his name and you'll see he's signed up for quite a few forums but only a couple posts each, all defending Microsoft. He's not the first. This forum has received a few of those guys who come here to promote IE and other MS products. When I challenge them, they always say, "I'm not a technical guy so I'll have to get back with you on that," and that's the last you hear from them. Another indication is they only return every couple of weeks or more (if at all).
Yes. When it comes out, instead of being 12 years behind all other browsers, as it is today, it will only be 5 years behind all other browsers.
Was that a speed test specifically? Would be interested to know any specific factors they used... eg CSS rendering, JS etc...
