I'm not sure if IE9 is good enough for me to make the switch. Looks good so far, but when I tried to import my favorites from my main browser, I got frustrated because it changes the order (alphabetically) of your links. This is convenient, but only if you want it that way. My bookmarks are in a certain order based on frequency, and there are just too many favorites for me to go back and categorize them again. I really want to explore IE9, but this annoying issue was enough for me to stop using it. Please give your retorts, thoughts, rants, goods/bads.
IE7 was good, but IE9 rules, best browser out there right now. Chrome,Firefox, Safari and Opera have a lot of catching up to do. There must be a reason why 99.9% of all websites are designed to work with Internet Explorer. I tried all those other browsers, mentioned above, there are STILL today, some websites that these browsers will not open. Why play around with these subpar browsers when the original is still the best? Doesn't make sense. IE9 is extremely light compared to other versions of IE. GUI rendering of graphics is what makes web pages load so fast. Not sure of any of the other browers use this form of loading pages. Opera and Safari seem to be the worst browsers. Many websites just won't open with these browsers, mainly financial websites, banks etc.
I don't think it is bad but I am not fond of IE9 (or any IE version). I am using Chrome most of the time and Firefox sometimes.
I mostly hate IE 'cause I had a lot of problems with it, but the new IE9 looks promising, it has a sleek UI, supports CSS3 and HTML5, page load is pretty good. We'll see in time.
