Firefox for sure because it never gives me pop ups and IE does. Also it makes site's look way better, it's way faster, and I hate the fact that IE gives Microsoft all of your information and everything you type.
I'm still waiting for the final versions and will install both of them, personally prefer IE... and also think that the user have to decide what will be better for him - IE got security problems and FF too , FF - great add-ons , but IE is quite lighter. So... waiting for the final versions
IE has three times more security vulnerabilities than any other browser. Also, IE is 10 years behind web standards. IE holds back the web. Don't use IE if you don't have to. Rarely does anyone have to.
How well does it work with XHTML? Oh! It doesn't. How well does it work with SVG? Oh! It doesn't. How well does it work with CSS 2.1? Oh! Very poorly. How well does it work with CSS3? Oh! Hardly at all. How well does it work with the DOM? Oh! Stuck in 1998. How well does it work with Javascript? Oh! Stuck in the past. Should I continue?
don't count out FF3 as far as being light, it kicks butt over 2 as far as the memory is concerned in my dealings with it. I just wish IE crashed 57-84% less than it does for me now!!
Whichever turns out to be the better browser is the one I'll use. Firefox seems to be the more reasonable one now but who's to say IE8 is not amazing when it does come out? Considering FireFox right now loves to crash a lot for me when handling javascript it has a lot of fix, just in other area's than IE. I'm not a big fan of the whole it's Microsoft I don't use it or it's Mozilla I don't use it type of thinking some people have. You use the best browser
dude! you are an idiot!! why for though? using IE sometimes reminds me of what it must have been like to have AOL as an ISP
I'll never use that microsoft crap again. Hell, FF2 supports CSS3, FF3 is going to pwn any other browser going. If ie8 is a little better than ie7 it still won't match up to Firefox, best browser going. IE reminds me of a rusty bridge, unstable and out of date.
lol, No reason really, I use FF to make sure everything appears correctly whenever i design a site and i also use it for the extensions it provides, but for every day general web browsing IE still takes the cake for me I just never believe have any issues with IE honestly, and could care less what the main stream uses or thinks. Maybe i'm one of the few exceptions where i've never really had any issue with a ms product before? *I made this post with FF3b4 btw!!!*
Did you ever try the FF developer tool bar, it makes things really easy when creating layouts in CSS. Your missing out if you haven't tried it https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60 don't hate FF, I used to at one time but that was only because it was different. Now I'd never go back.
you know, I am definitely not one of those people...I have trouble with everything. Windows movie maker crashed on me 47% of the time for cripes sake!! MS....I'm doing it wrong (inserts BSOD)
